Great Plains Reports Voting Results from its Annual General Meeting

Vancouver, BC, Canada – Monday, June 1, 2026 – Great Plains Metals Corp. (“GPS” or “the Company”, TSX-V: GPS, Frankfurt Exchange: 8VC) announces the details of the voting results from its Annual General Meeting, held on May 28, 2026 in Vancouver, BC. 

By resolution passed via ballot, the four nominees referenced below were appointed as Directors of the Company to serve until the next annual meeting of shareholders of the Company, or until their successors are elected or appointed. The results of the ballot were as follows:

Shareholders also voted in favour of (i) the re-appointment of Smythe LLP, as auditors of the Company for the ensuing year and authorizing the Directors to fix their remuneration; (ii) fixing the number of directors on the Company’s Board of Director at four (4) persons, and (iii) approving the new Omnibus Equity Incentive Plan (the “Omnibus Plan”).

The Omnibus Plan is a “rolling up to 10% and fixed up to 10%” equity incentive plan, as such term is defined in TSX Venture Exchange (the “Exchange”) Corporate Finance Manual Policy 4.4 – Security Based Compensation. The Omnibus Plan allows the Company to issue up to a maximum of 10% of the issued and outstanding common shares of the Company in stock options, and up to an aggregate of 7,697,071 common shares issuable pursuant to performance share units, deferred share units, restricted share units, and other share based awards, which number represents a fixed maximum under the Omnibus Plan, to directors, officers, employees, and consultants of the Company. 

The Omnibus Plan remains subject to the final acceptance of the Exchange.
